Risk Assessment/Hazardous Materials Inspection is required based on OHS Regulations 20.112. Structure/building built prior to 1990 must be inspected for hazardous materials prior to renovation/demolition. Amiante Environmental surveys the work site, identifies the hazards, collects representative samples, and writes the risk assessment report. Amiante Environmental helps abatement companies with the required procedures and proper abatement work based on WorkSafeBC Regulations.
Amiante Environmental Consulting provides site survey and bulk sampling. The accredited laboratory analyses the samples. After gathering all the data, Amiante provides Hazardous Materials Survey Report to the owner. Hazardous Materials Survey Report is required by WorkSafeBC and the city or district municipality prior to renovation and demolition.
Air sampling must be done during and after high-risk abatement work. Amiante Environmental provides testing and analysis of the airborne asbestos fibers inside and outside containment for the protection of workers and the public. Moreover, after posting on the project site the laboratory report and result, Amiante informs the workers and supervisor the fiber concentration level. Based on the result, Amiante suggests methods on how to lower asbestos dusts.
Amiante Environmental Consulting is certified by MBL Mold and Bacteria Consulting Laboratories for mold inspection, identification, and control. Natural Resources of Canada renews Amiante Environmental’s project manager, Riza Castro’s Non-Destructive Testing Certification using X-Ray Fluorescence for five years.
